Sarah Rudofsky is a visionary educational leader committed to bridging the gap between education and workforce development.
As the Founder and Lead of Consulting and Project Management at Alliance Learning Design, LLC., based in Chicago, Illinois, Ms. Rudofsky pioneers initiatives that connect the fundamental core of education and life-long learning with the evolving needs of current and future careers, fostering a more equitable and robust economy.
With over 27 years of experience in educational leadership and collaboration with workforce development, Sarah has a proven track record of co-creating programs to recruit, train, and retain a diverse workforce. Her expertise lies in designing curriculum and training modules for technical instructors, enabling them to impart new skills and knowledge efficiently. She excels in designing and administering evaluation systems to assess program quality and securing grants to support workforce and career pathway development, with a special focus on green and renewable energy projects.
Prior to founding Alliance Learning Design, Ms. Rudofsky served as the Executive Director of Early College and Career Education at Chicago Public Schools. In this role, she led groundbreaking partnerships between postsecondary educational institutions including the City of Chicago and provided over 15,000 work-based learning opportunities by nurturing relationships with 2000+ business partners. Managing a substantial budget, Sarah demonstrated exemplary stewardship of grant funds while fostering a team of 72 professionals through innovative professional learning opportunities.
During her tenure at Chicago Public Schools, Ms. Rudofsky held various leadership roles, including Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Workforce Development, where she spearheaded curriculum development for 35 career paths and initiated impactful strategies to consolidate business partnerships. Her dedication to talent development and mentorship has consistently resulted in elevated performance and cost savings.
Prior to moving to Chicago, Ms. Rudofsky made significant contributions to education in Los Angeles, CA. As a 5-8th Grade classroom teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District, she spearheaded cutting-edge pedagogical approaches to teaching English as a second language and integrating technology into the core curriculum. Additionally, her role as an Instructional and Change Strategy Consultant at Action Learning Systems saw her delivering impactful training sessions and consolidating research and practical application of instructional methods for long-term learning outcomes.
Sarah Rudofsky holds advanced degrees from the University of Southern California, the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Science in English and Comparative Literature from Occidental College. With a California Teaching License certification, Ms. Rudofsky combines academic rigor with practical experience to drive meaningful change in education and workforce development.
